Well today was the last day of camp for the 2014 summer.  We all had such a great time!

At the end of our day we sat in a circle and talked about what we liked about camp… some said “everything”, others were more specific… “catching frogs”, “hiking”, “meeting everybody”, the list goes on and on.

After creating our nature weaves (see below) we walked a mile trail and the kids were talking and laughing, I couldn’t ask for anything more. Being outside and walking is so important for all of us.  We just need to find the time to do  it or  …. get off the couch and do it.  Either way it is difficult to make it happen in our busy days, but so worth it.  No expectations, no lessons, just pure walking.

Here are some memorable pics from our week together.  Love these campers and our great volunteers, Shannon, Ryan, Michelle, Kiara, Chris and Brittany!!

I look forward to the Fall and the adventures we will experience.  Until then enjoy your summer and take a walk with your kids.

Peace,
